A.D.A.M., Inc. has completed a multi-year licensing agreement with Evanston Northwestern Healthcare. The goal is to provide patients with a 'Total Care Path' by giving them all of the information they need at every stage of health care delivery. DxCG, Inc. has introduced DxCG RiskSmart, a Web-based suite of powerful predictive modeling products. DxCG RiskSmart combines DxCG's Diagnostic Cost Groups and RxGroups models to analyze demographic, medical and pharmacy claims information to profile the range and intensity of medical problems for a given population. It tracks risk by following individuals or groups of patients over time and allows medical managers to identify opportunities whereby early intervention can have an impact on the cost and quality of care. Focus Technologies manages The Surveillance Network, a real-time surveillance system to electronically link microbiology results from over 870 participating hospitals and laboratories throughout the world. The Network tracks resistance to major antimicrobial agents in the United States and worldwide.
